Tax Accountant

Job Purpose
The Tax Accountant plays a key role in the company’s tax and accounting management. They are responsible for monitoring taxes, ensuring tax compliance, and optimizing tax strategies. They ensure the application of applicable regulations and participate in interactions with tax authorities.
Principal Accountabilities / Critical tasks
- Oversee the accounting and tax closing of French and international subsidiaries.
- Prepare tax returns (VAT, Corporate Tax, CVAE, CFE, C3S, R&D Tax Credit, CII).
- Calculate and account for current, deferred taxes, and tax credits (R&D Tax Credit, CII).
- Ensure compliance with national and international tax standards.
- Identify and assess tax risks related to the company’s operations.
- Prevent tax audits and ensure defense in case of a tax inspection.
- Ensure legal monitoring and anticipate regulatory changes.
- Analyze and monitor the consolidated tax burden of subsidiaries.
- Propose tax optimization strategies tailored to the group’s operations & Handle external tax reporting (DAC 6, FIN 48).
- Support the transition to electronic VAT (e-reporting/e-invoicing).
- Lead the analysis of regulatory and tax risks related to international operations.
- Document and improve internal tax processes.
Qualification Requirements
Education
- Minimum Bac +3: Finance, Accounting/Taxation
Work experience
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting and taxation in a company or firm.
- Experience in the taxation of international groups, particularly in VAT and corporate tax matters.
- In-depth knowledge of French and international accounting standards (IFRS, European tax regulations).
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Ability to work in project mode and interact with various stakeholders (internal and external).
- Experience in tax audits and managing relationships with tax authorities.
- Expertise in tax risk analysis and implementing tax optimization strategies.

Junior Legal Counsel

Job Purpose
As part of a temporary 6-month activity increase, as Junior Legal Counsel, you will ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of the company by providing expert advice and support on legal and data privacy matters, including GDPR. You will collaborate with stakeholders to implement efficient processes, draft and negotiate compliant contracts, while protecting the company’s interests.
Principal Accountabilities / Critical tasks
- General Legal Support: Provide expert guidance and support on all legal matters to various internal stakeholders, ensuring that the company’s interests are protected and compliance with applicable laws is maintained
- Process Implementation: Collaborate with management to implement new legal processes that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with updated regulatory standards
- GDPR Compliance: Act as the primary resource for GDPR-related matters. Support the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the company’s GDPR compliance program
- Contractual Compliance: Draft, review, and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPA), Cross-Border Data Transfer Clauses (CCT), and all GDPR-related articles in contracts to ensure data privacy compliance
- GDPR Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on GDPR, advising internal teams and providing guidance on data privacy topics to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
Qualification Requirements

- Master’s degree in law (Master 2 Droit des Affaires/DJCE/Magistère/Droit du Numérique)
Work experience
- 2+ years in IT contract law and commercial law ideally in the payment’s ecosystem or fintech
- Experience in regulatory and GDPR topics is a plus
